Hi, I’m Jeremy. I am a pastor, professor, father and husband. I love my family very much and love to share about my Jesus.
Jeremy is an affiliate professor of ministry in the Adult and Graduate Studies department at Ohio Christian University in Circleville, Ohio, and serves as senior pastor of Columbus First Christian Baptist of Columbus, Ohio. He also oversees the Christian education and minister training for the Christian Baptist Association where he is also an ordained minister.
Jeremy is married to Abbie Kamer, and they have four children, Josie, Ezra, Merrie, and Livie, along with Great Dane Gideon.
Abbie is the third-grade teacher at New Hope Christian Academy and Jeremy is also the K-12 computer science and robotics teacher. Abbie is the owner of Wonderfully Made Boutique.
Jeremy is finishing his dissertation for the Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan.

Substituted English and Science for Middle and High School. Long-term substitute for middle school math for 4-week.
Christian Baptist Youth Vice-President of Youth and Pastoral Advisor 2004-2012, 2015-Current
Supervise teenager and children’s summer camps. Organized activities, scheduled ministers and workers and camp counselors. Developed camp themes and lessons. Organized and led monthly district youth rallies.
Far South Side Area Commission – Commissioner 2014-2016
Part of a 15-member council appointed by the Mayor of Columbus that is responsible for a 25-square mile area and its economic development, public safety, parks and recreation, zoning, health, and education, etc. I lead the informational technology committee that had oversight of the creation and maintenance of the website, social media presence, and e-mail.
